- Overview
- Doxacure 50 contains doxycycline monohydrate (50 mg), a broad-spectrum tetracycline-class antibiotic for treatment of bacterial infections in dogs and cats including respiratory, renal, and soft tissue conditions.
- Composition
- Each tablet contains: Doxycycline monohydrate – 50 mg, Excipient q.s.f 1 tablet.
- Indication
- Dogs: Rhinitis (Bordetella bronchiseptica, Pasteurella spp.), bronchopneumonia (Bordetella spp., Pasteurella spp.), interstitial nephritis (Leptospira spp.). Cats: Respiratory infections (Bordetella bronchiseptica, Chlamydophila felis, Pasteurella spp.).
- Administration & Dosage
- Oral use. Recommended dose: 10 mg (5–10 mg) doxycycline per kg bodyweight per day. Routine cases: 5–7 days. Chronic/refractory cases: up to 14 days. Administer with food to reduce gastrointestinal side effects.

- Blisters of 10 tablets; cartons of 10 or 50 blisters.

- Store in a cool, dark place, protected from light. Shelf life: 24 months.
