Product Information

Overview: Cefalox® 500mg is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic (cefalexin 500mg) for oral administration in dogs. Indicated for treating bacterial infections of the skin, respiratory tract, urinary tract, gastro-intestinal tract, and soft tissues.
Composition: Each tablet contains: Cefalexin – 500mg, Excipient q.s.f 1 tablet.
Indication: For use in the treatment of infections of the respiratory tract, gastro-intestinal tract, urogenital tract, the skin, and localized infections in soft tissue caused by bacteria sensitive to Cefalexin.
Administration & Dosage: Oral administration only. A dose of 15 mg/kg twice daily is recommended, to be doubled as appropriate. Treatment for five days is recommended. Tablets may be added to food if necessary.
Presentation: 10 tablets per blister; box of 1 blister and box of 10 blisters.
