Overview

Catney One® is a phosphate binder that helps manage blood phosphate levels in cats with kidney disease to slow disease progression.

Composition

Catney One consists of Lanthanum carbonate octahydrate (880g/kg), maltodextrins (produced from potatoes and maize).

Indication

Management of hyperphosphatemia (elevated phosphate levels) in cats with chronic kidney disease (CKD), by binding dietary phosphate in the gastrointestinal tract to prevent its absorption and slow the progression of kidney damage.

Administration & Dosage

One sachet per day added to food. Initially one sachet/day is recommended. After 2–4 weeks, the amount can be adapted based on serum phosphate levels.

Presentation

1 box of 30 sachets, each containing 455mg of lanthanum carbonate octahydrate.
