Overview

Melox 0.5mg/ml is an oral NSAID suspension containing meloxicam for relief of pain and inflammation in cats and small dogs, especially after surgery or in cases of musculoskeletal disorders like arthritis.

Composition

Each ml contains: Meloxicam 0.5 mg, Excipient q.s.f 10 ml.

Indication

Relief of pain and inflammation in cats and dogs up to 10kg, especially after surgery or in musculoskeletal disorders.

Administration & Dosage

Cats — peri-operative: 0.05mg/kg once daily for up to 2 days. Cats — acute disorders: initial 0.1mg/kg, then 0.05mg/kg for up to 4 days. Dogs up to 10kg: initial 0.2mg/kg on day 1, then 0.1mg/kg once daily.
