Product Information

Overview: Caniquantel Plus XL is formulated for the treatment of mixed infections with roundworms and tapeworms in larger dogs. Requires prescription.
Composition: Praziquantel 100.0mg, Fenbendazole 1000.0mg. Other: sodium dodecyl sulphate, povidone, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose, iron oxide (E172), meat flavour.
Indication: Treatment of mixed infections with roundworms (Toxocara canis, hookworms, whipworms) and tapeworms (Echinococcus granulosus, E. multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Multiceps multiceps, Mesocestoides spp.).
Administration & Dosage: 5mg praziquantel + 50mg fenbendazole per kg body weight per day. Dosing: ½ tablet up to 10 kg; 1 tablet 10–20 kg; 1½ tablets 20–30 kg. Administer for three consecutive days.
Presentation: 60 tablets in PVC/PVdC/aluminium blisters of 3 tablets per blister.
